The Rye Golf Club Commission consists of 7 current Rye Golf Club members, elected by the membership of the Club at large. Voting procedures for each RGC membership category, as well as membership requirements for Commissioners, are outlined in the RGC Handbook, which can be viewed on ryegolfclub.com. The commission assists the General Manager by providing feedback and recommendations regarding the clubs throughout each calendar year.

 The Commissioners are elected each November for the following calendar year. The terms consist of 3 years, commencing on January 1 of the first year and ending on December 31 of the third year. The Commission will not at any time have more than one non-resident member. At the January meeting of the Commission, the Commissioners will elect a Chairperson to serve for a 1-year term ending December 31.
