The Flood Advisory Committee was established by resolution of the City Council to research, study and recommend actions that the City could consider in mitigating flood impacts both on a local and regional level. 

 The committee consists of no less the seven (7) members and no more than (9), all of whom are residents of the City.  Flood Committee members  shall be appointed by the City Council while the Chairman shall be designated by the Mayor.
