The Conservation Commission/Advisory Council assists in the administration of environmental regulatory activities, provides education materials and advice related to environmental issues, and provides public services by fostering citizen involvement in local and regional environmental issues. CC/AC also comments on the acceptability of each wetlands permit application to come before the City of Rye Planning Commission.
