Name of Proposed Project: Athletic Field - Rye Nursery Property
Project Location: Milton Road


Project Description: The removal of all existing structures will provide sufficient space to develop an athletic field to accommodate those sports for ages played on a rectangular field (e.g. soccer, field hockey, lacrosse).
The Rye Nursery site is now a City owned property, that is located just south of Playland Parkway. The parcel had supported a commercial nursery operation and still retains the main building, greenhouse, parking area & mulch, leaf and topsoil stockpiles. The northeast & western perimeter of the site indicates presence of wetlands.
