Rye Police joined the chase as it passed through Rye's juristdiction. The suspects fled into the Bronx and crashed on the Bruckner expressway and Westchester Avenue. Rye Officer Mike Larkin was the first to arrive on the scene and gave chase to the 3 suspects, arresting 1 on the Bruckner. Officer Larkin then radioed the direcion on travel of the remaining 2 who where chased by Rye, NYPD and Greenwich unit's into the Pelham Bay Station. NYPD Highway 1 arrested 1 perp on the stairs and the other a short time later on Middletown Road. More on this later on. Great work and courage by Officer Mike Larkin on the chase and apprehension.

A Poughkeepsie man has more than some explain to do in Rye City Court. Carlos Caunedo Jr was arrested by Officer Mike Anfuso for a host of charges. A traffic stop on Midland Avenue on February 8th led to Caunedos arrest. Here are the details: While speaking to the defendant Anfuso ascertained that his license was revoked in NY state. County Police raided the home at 28 High street arresting Nickola Salazar and Mangdalena Musiej for the possession. They were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The raid and arrests came as a result of an ongoing investigation by Westchester County assisted by Rye Detectives. Good work by both agencies in getting dope pushers off the streets.
