Detective Division
The detective division investigates crimes and suspicious activity in the City of Rye. They are responsible for warrants, investigations, court preparation, youth issues, D.A.R.E. and evidence collection, storage and disposal.
The division is headed by Lt. Joseph Verille a twenty-five year veteran of police work. His staff includes Det. Robert "Jake" Chittenden, and youth officer Det. John Wood
