Description of Services

The City Clerk is the Clerk of the Council and keeps a journal of its proceedings, preserves and compiles local laws, ordinances, resolutions, and public notices of the Council. Other duties include acting as secretary to the Board of Appeals, Records Management Officer for the City, and Records Access Officer for F.O.I.L. The Clerk has custody of the City seal and affixes it to such documents as authorized by law or Council.
