The committee shall consist of 15 members in grades seven through twelve at the time of the appointment or reappointment. A selection committee comprised of one representative of the City designated by the City Manager, the Rye YMCA and the Rye Youth Council will review nominations and select students to recommend to the City Council for appointment. The term of office for each member will be one school year, beginning September 1 and ending June 30. The committee will select its own Chair and Vice Chair.
