Description of Services

The Nature Center Director is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Rye Nature Center. The Center provides public environmental programs and service and functions as a passive recreation area open to the public for guests to enjoy. The Center operates under the guidance of the Rye Conservation Commission/Advisory Council (CC/AC).

Volunteer Opportunities

The Nature Center offers a number of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers assist Center staff with programs, grounds maintenance, administrative tasks, and special events. The Center also provides internships and community service opportunities for students from local schools.
