Dr. Brian J. Nickerson, Ph.D., J.D.

Dr. Brian J. Nickerson is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at Pace University. He also serves as Director of The Edwin G. Michaelian Institute for Public Policy and Management at Pace University, which conducts extensive research, workshops, and conferences for government and nonprofit sectors.

Dr. Nickerson received his doctoral degree in political science at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs of SUNY Albany, and holds the MPA and J.D. degrees earned from Pace University. Dr. Nickerson has a diverse background in applied public policy research areas, such as policy evaluation and public opinion polling. He has also published several scholarly works, presented numerous professional papers at international, national, and regional conferences, and teaches courses in government, public policy and law.
