The City of Rye and Westchester County have accepted a dedication of a public utility for sanitary sewer for homes in the Drake Smith Lane area. (GIS for sewer area)
Residents who would like to pursue a sanitary connection should obtain current sewer line specifications and as-built location by consulting the filed plans in the City of Rye Engineering Department.
In order to process a request to connect to this line, a City Right of Way Permit (PDF) and t Building Department Application for Mechanical Installation Permit (PDF) must be completed and approved by the City Engineer and the Building Inspector.
